I thought it'd be a nice idea to pick these strips out and put them up on deviantArt, as "pansexuality" is still an obscure term, and most people seem interested in learning these sorta things :)

Of course, labels -however pretty they may sound- remain labels, and the most important thing is to be just you.

Lots of love! :peace:

ermm. i identify as bisexual, because the way I see it, a human can only be mono-gendered, but this doesn't mean I don't find gender-queers etc attractive. I think that's because for me gender is literally just what chromosomes you have. But i do humor transgenders, because it is sad that they are not in the right body. Alas we lack the adequate skills in gene-therapy to reassign gender

I agree that labels are labels. I don't want to use labels to define me or my sexuality, so I just explain to people what pansexuality is without using that word when they ask me. Unless I feel like getting into the long philosophical discussion about why they ask about my sexuality in the first place, why they need people to define their sexuality at all or define themselves by who they sleep with/fall in love with, why...yeah let's not get into that long discussion here and now;)

This is basically the same way my boyfriend explained it to me. It seemed that he knew what I was long before I did hehe. Now everything makes sense and I'm proud of who I am even more

At some point in my life, I stopped worrying about it, in that I realized that the people who were the most invested in making me conform to the heterosexual paradigm were, irrespective of gender, completely unattractive to me; sexually OR socially. Since I didn't wish to seem biased to myself, I allowed a few lapses of instinct... and my instincts were correct.

But "I'm just me" is both the best answer - and really the only answer that acquaintances and strangers deserve.
