Well, for a while now we've noticed how difficult it can be to keep with five updates a week. So you have to make a decision that suits best with reality.
How frequently can you consistently update? How much will your income suffer from the reduction of updates? How much will the enjoyment of your own personal life will be affected?
As I see it, I imagine that the third question is extremely important to you, which is why you can't always manage the five updates a week you desired. Just do what you think will work best for you in the long run. As long as you don't skip updates, your fans will most likely be okay with whatever resolution you pick.
Also, there's also the choice of updating four times a week. Perhaps you can just gradually scale back and see what works best for you
